Key ingredients
Retinol: Improves the look of stubborn dark marks, acne scars, and rough texture.
How to use
- Patch test and ease in: Patch test on a small area before full use. Monitor your skin during the first 24 hours and report concerns within 48 hours. Begin every other night for one week. Do not wait to seek help for a serious reaction.
- Apply at night: Smooth 5 pumps in a thin layer over clean, dry skin. Avoid eyes and lips, then let it absorb.
- Follow the cycle: Use for 14 nights, take a 3-day break, then repeat. Add a plain moisturizer if needed.
What not to mix: Do not use with Spot Treatment on the same day or during the same treatment course. Pause Purifying Toner. Revitalizing Serum may be applied first, and Refining Crème may be used the following morning.

What is Resurfacing Crème best for?
It is a cycle-based nighttime retinol treatment for stubborn dark marks, acne scars and rough, uneven-looking texture.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Do not use this retinoid during pregnancy or while trying to conceive. Perfec-Tone also advises avoiding it while breastfeeding. Ask your clinician about a suitable routine. Do not apply it to raw or irritated skin. If you use prescription tretinoin, talk to your prescribing clinician before starting it. We don't recommend pairing our treatment actives with tretinoin or planning alternate nights, and please don't stop or change your prescription to start our products. For other prescribed treatments, ask your prescriber first.
How do I start if I am new to retinol?
Patch test before full use and follow the product label. A small-area test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not develop later. First-time users ease in every other night for one week before the 14-night cycle, followed by three retinoid-free recovery nights. Stop if irritation develops.
How do I apply it?
At night, apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin while avoiding the eyes and lips. Let it absorb fully.
Can I use it with Spot Treatment?
No. Never use them on the same day or during the same treatment course.
What can I use with it?
Apply Revitalizing Serum first if you use it. Refining Crème may be used the following morning. Pause Purifying Toner during the course.
Do I still need sunscreen?
Refining Crème contains sunscreen, but it has no SPF rating, so it doesn't replace your sunscreen. Use a separate broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning. For a beach day, sports, sweating or long hours in the sun, follow your sunscreen's label for reapplication.
Will I peel?
Visible peeling is not required for progress. Do not pick flakes. Mild dryness may occur, but persistent burning, raw skin, swelling or severe peeling need assessment, not more product. Stop treatment and seek medical advice for significant symptoms.
What should I do if my skin reacts?
Stop using the product if you develop persistent burning, raw skin, a rash, swelling or worsening symptoms. Do not push through a reaction or restart automatically. Seek prompt medical advice for significant or persistent symptoms, without waiting or asking our permission first, and urgent care for breathing problems or severe swelling. Contact bahamas@perfec-tone.com with the product and your routine so the Skin Studio team can help with product questions.
