Key ingredients
Retinol: Helps soften the look of stubborn, individual dark marks.
How to use
- Cleanse at night: Start with clean, dry skin.
- Treat the spots: Apply 2 to 3 pumps directly to the spots you want to treat. Let it absorb.
- Continue your routine: Follow with moisturizer. Do not use Resurfacing Crème on the same night.
What not to mix: Do not use with Resurfacing Crème on the same day or during the same treatment course. Pause Purifying Toner while using it. Refining Crème may be used in the morning, at least 8 hours earlier.

What is Spot Treatment best for?
It is a stronger nighttime retinol treatment for five or fewer stubborn marks that did not respond to gentler correction.
How long until I see a difference?
Results vary with your skin, the concern and your routine. Take progress photos in similar lighting and follow the product directions. There is no guaranteed deadline. For questions about how your skin looks, send the Skin Studio team a photo and the products you use. If your skin is worsening, stop the product rather than continuing just to reach a milestone. Burning, raw skin, swelling or other significant symptoms need prompt medical advice. Get that advice right away; you do not need to wait or ask our permission first.
Who should avoid it?
Do not use this retinoid during pregnancy or while trying to conceive. Perfec-Tone also advises avoiding it while breastfeeding. Ask your clinician about a suitable routine. Do not apply it to raw or irritated skin. If you use prescription tretinoin, talk to your prescribing clinician before starting it. We don't recommend pairing our treatment actives with tretinoin or planning alternate nights, and please don't stop or change your prescription to start our products. For other prescribed treatments, ask your prescriber first.
Can I use it with Resurfacing Crème?
No. Never use them on the same day or during the same treatment course. Finish one course before starting the other.
Can I use it with Refining Crème?
Perfec-Tone’s pairing guidance allows Refining Crème in the morning and Spot Treatment at night, at least eight hours apart. Never use Spot Treatment and Resurfacing Crème on the same day or in the same course. Pause Purifying Toner during the course. Ask a clinician before changing a prescription routine.
Do I still need sunscreen?
Refining Crème contains sunscreen, but it has no SPF rating, so it doesn't replace your sunscreen. Use a separate broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning. For a beach day, sports, sweating or long hours in the sun, follow your sunscreen's label for reapplication.
What should I do if my skin reacts?
Stop using the product if you develop persistent burning, raw skin, a rash, swelling or worsening symptoms. Do not push through a reaction or restart automatically. Seek prompt medical advice for significant or persistent symptoms, without waiting or asking our permission first, and urgent care for breathing problems or severe swelling. Contact bahamas@perfec-tone.com with the product and your routine so the Skin Studio team can help with product questions.
Do I use it all over my face?
No. Apply it only to the specific marks you want to treat. A thin targeted layer is enough.

Before starting a new routine
Monitor your skin for effects during the first 24 hours of use. Report any concerns to the Skin Studio within 48 hours. Do not wait to seek help for a serious reaction.
Let the team know about your current products, prescription medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any irritation. Your prescribing clinician decides whether a prescription or routine change is appropriate.
If your skin reacts
Persistent burning, raw skin, swelling or severe pain need prompt medical advice. Stop the Perfec-Tone product causing the reaction and contact a doctor. Do not change prescribed medication without your clinician’s advice.
